Sydney Blue Gum

Sydney Blue Gum is a species of hardwood that originates from a region of coastal New South Wales (notably in Batemans Bay) that extends right through to southern Queensland. Its appearance can vary from a dark pink through to a reddish brown in colour and typically features gum vein and gum pockets.

In terms of staircases, Sydney Blue Gum can be used for all components (including stringers, risers, treads, balustrading, posts, handrails and capping). It is also suitable for painting and staining.
